Insulation

This platform model is designed to work easily on medium voltage power lines. The insulating basket, the insulating arm and all the special components guarantee maximum safety for the operators. The machine is equipped with a provision for measuring the earth leakage. The main features of this special insulated model are the following:

• Certified dielectric resin basket
• Arm in certified dielectric resin
• Dielectric oil
• Dielectric flexible tubes
• Provision for mounting the electrical leak detection device
• Start & Stop controls with remote dielectric activation
• Oil residual moisture filtering system

Controls

• Ground emergency control station.
• Check valves fitted to all hydraulic cylinders.
• Control levers with automatic return to rest position. The movements of the entire platform are operated by means of levers, located respectively in the following control stations:

– Nacelle : platform control panel

– turret : platform control panel for emergency only

Safety Devices

• Stabilizer/aerial part interlock: stabilizer lock when the boom is not in the rest position + boom lock if the props do not detect the actual stabilization of the vehicle.
• Moment limiter
• Manually operated emergency pump allows any maneuver in the event of a failure of the main pump, in particular the return to the rest position of the arm and props, it is able to operate even with a flat battery.
• All movements of the structure are carried out by double-acting hydraulic jacks with double-piloted safety valves that control the flow of oil in and out.
• General safety button for emergency shutdown special for isolated devices
• Thermal protection device for the electrical system.
• Safety device that prevents the starter motor from engaging when the engine is running

Shipbuilding

• 100% hydraulic system that allows 2 simultaneous movements
• Constant and gradual automatic levelling of the basket with independent hydraulic circuit
• Access from the top of the basket for maximum protection against electrical contacts
• 2 seat belt hooks

Stabilizers

• Via remote control:
• Proportional translation movements
• Automatic and independent stabilization of the outriggers
• Visual inspection of each stabilizer
• possibility to use the remote control on the basket and on the ground
• Engine RPM control to increase maximum travel speed
• Start and stop the engine from the remote control
• possibility of lifting the telescopic arm to increase the slope edge when loading or unloading from the truck

Pumps Power

• Pump , gear type, flow rate of 20lt/min. with engine at minimum speed
• Hour meter in the cabin to monitor working hours and frequency of scheduled tests

Painting

• Thanks to the high-quality painting of the subframe and the aerial platform, all metal components are protected from corrosion. Color White/GreenAll insulating components are painted in white

Assembly

• 100% hydraulic controls directly from the nacelle to ensure maximum reliability over time and great precision in maneuvers.
• Ground emergency control station.
• The controls allow you to perform 2 movements simultaneously and to obtain a greater sensitivity of progressive and gradual maneuvering compared to the electro-hydraulic ones as well as avoiding failures of the electrical components resulting from rainy weather, humidity, frequent use, etc.
• For a longer and guaranteed life of the hydraulic system, all the controls that can be operated from the nacelle and all the hydraulic pipes positioned inside the arms that reach the distributor in the turret work at low pressure 25 Bar.
• Check valves fitted to all hydraulic cylinders.
• Control levers with automatic return to rest position. The movements of the entire platform are activated by using levers, located respectively in the following control stations:
  – nacelle: platform control panel
  – turret: platform control panel for emergencies only
  – base: stabiliser control panel

Warranty

The platform is guaranteed for 12 months from delivery date .
The vehicle is guaranteed by the Manufacturer.
