Genie S80 Telescopic Boom
Both S80 and S85 have the ability to keep the weight of the boom over the chassis’ centre of gravity as it elevates. This eliminates the need for extra counterweight and keeps the overall weight of the machine down for use in more sensitive terrains and makes this boom suitable for a wide range of outdoor construction and maintenance work.
- Fixed width axles allow the boom to drive right off the trailer and go straight to work, maximising productivity at the job site.
- The fixed width axles on S 80 and S 85 booms give the machines a 2.49 m (8 ft 2 in) total width which means they can be easily transported over the road and on the jobsite
- For added flexibility, the articulating jib boom option offers an extra 1.52 m (5 ft) of horizontal or vertical reach and 135of working range.
