    Role Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced Plant Spray Painter & General Operative to join our workshop team in Ashbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for spray painting, preparation, and finishing of plant and access machinery, as well as assisting with a variety of general workshop duties.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Carry out spray painting, preparation, priming, and finishing of access machinery to a high standard.
    • Undertake surface preparation including sanding, masking, and priming.
    • Ensure all painting and finishing work complies with health, safety, and environmental standards.
      Assist with general workshop duties including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance support.
    • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Work as part of a team to ensure deadlines are met and jobs are completed to customer expectations.
    • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in spray painting plant, vehicles, or access machinery is essential.
    • Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and equipment.
    • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
    • Flexibility to carry out varied general operative duties.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Commitment to workplace safety and best practices.

    Desirable:

    • Experience in refurbishment and repair of access machinery or heavy plant.
    • Mechanical or workshop background.
    • Full driver’s licence.
